The Bluegrass Nurse Aide Training Center completes the 16 hour clinical portion of the course at facilities that serve the resident's needs through multiple levels of care including skilled and
traditional care as well as hospice and Alzheimer's care.
Our students currently have the privelege of receiving their clinical training at the Thomson Hood Veterans Center. This 250 bed long-term care facility is the perfect
setting for our students to begin their training.
The staff at the Thomson Hood Veterans Center provide consistent nursing care to their residents. Their staff is very supportive of our students during their clincal days. We consider it an honor to assist in providing excellent care to America's Veterans.
